Cornwall in England is one of the premier places to enjoy surfing in Great Britain with a fantastic selection of beaches to choose from such as; Penhale Corner, Perranporth, Perran Bay and Trevaunace Cove as well as Portreath, Porthtowan Beach and Chapel Porth. If enjoy golfing then you will pleased to learn that there are a few nearby golf courses including Holywell Bay Golf Club, Treloy Golf Club, Newquay Golf Club and Merlin Golf and Country Club. If you are enthralled by animals and nature then you might find the nearby visitor attractions of Screech Owl Sanctuary, Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre and Cornish Birds of Prey Centre.

This part of Cornwall has masses of excellent tourist attractions If you are searching for an adventure centre or or the likes Shires Family Adventure Park, Penhale Adventure Centre and Lusty Glaze Adventure Centre could be ideal.

Other attractions include Spirit of the West, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trerice (Kestle Mill). And who could forget East Wheal Rose Park, Cornwall Pearl and The Eden Project. Finally why not take a trip on the Lappa Valley Steam Railway.

Places To Stay In Newquay, Cornwall

The Victoria Hotel is an AA 3 star establishment situated on the cliffs above the Great Western Beach. With the price for rooms starting at about £65 the Hotel Victoria is difficult to better.  The hotel has three restaurants plus leaisure facilities including a spa bath, gym and indoor pool.

If you are looking for something cheaper then the   Narrowcliff Hotel features accommodation from as little as £26 a night. Located on Narrowcliffs seafront overlooking Tolcarne beach. Alternatively Edgcumbe Hotel features rooms from £35 and the hotel is open throughout the year and the Edgcumbe Hotel also has cliff top views at Narrowcliff.

If these 3 establishments are unsuitable there are plenty of hotels in Newquay offering cheap Newquay bed and breakfast. Always remember that it is frequently possible to gain discounts for booking a room at the last minute.
